I made two more micro-stingers from the last two remaining 37 mm long 8 mm ID, 20 mm OD tubes. Identical in construction to the previous micro-stinger.
I love these things!
Not much height for a motor that carries about 3/4 the propellant of one of my 8 mm ID conventional rockets. But the effect and the sound makes up for that.
I didn't recover this one, too noisy to hear it land, but I did an extensive search for it, no luck.
This particular device peaked out about 950 Hz, or 57 kRPM.
In the pre-test picture it is the device standing up.
