Balcony Shoot #12 - Zn Pinwheel Driver Test

Date: 2003-10-10

As the composition test went OK, I prepared another lance using the same type of tube and same batch of composition.

It was taped to a piece of cardboard for a hub and attached to the wheel testing stand (a flower pot, some bricks, and a piece of pine lumber with a large split-pin for an axle).

Little thrust.

Suprising considering the lance was consumed in less than 5 seconds of burn time (end-burning mode). Perhaps choked it would develop the thrust to spin.

I think I'll stick to the Fe based wheel driver, it makes longer lasting sparks and it easier to deal with.
