Description
A quick hummer device, built to test a 90% meal + 10% -60+200 mesh steel (Skylighter's 'sparkler grade') composition.
Comments
Nice effect.
Long lived, fracturing golden sparks.
Odd slow down and second-wind burn profile, perhaps due to vibration/impact with the ground shaking loose slivers of propellant stuck in the corners of the case.
The spectrogram shows the second-wind part of the burn was only an increase in volume. Little if any additional thrust was supplied and the spin rate continued to drop from its peak of around 500 Hz (30 kRPM).
