Screen together finely milled components.
Chlorate based, so the usual care must be taken working with the composition.
Very nice colour. Originally as a distress signal flare, using shellac as a fuel. Redgum works fine as a one-for-one replacement.
May be struck against a matchbox striking surface to ignite.
One may choose to add 1/4-1/2 a part Dextrin and press dampened for easy loading. May also be used as a star composition, it it fairly similar to Lancaster chlorate red #3.
