There isn't much to this hack, you just solder a Schottky diode to a loop of wire across your favourite coax socket, attach to your signal generator, or a padded down TX and let it rip. You can add a resistor to load the thing a bit better, it depends on your signal source's output Z. Using just the loop tends to filter the output a bit, preferring higher order harmonics. You can cut the loop to resonate if you like, it will improve performance a lot. I didn't bother, I just needed the neutral hydrogen line in a hurry that night.
