Welcome to my new series of Alan's Crazy Idea videos. I thought I'd start with one of my more epically crazy ideas, CT Scanning the Khufu pyramid using cosmic ray muons.
Errata
Eon is not the correct term obviously. While the limestone and granite has been there for geologic time, the current configuration is the result of human engineering only about 5000 years ago.
My Cherenkov cone in the scintillator is the wrong way around (I put the arrow on the wrong end of the particle track).
Notes
To be useful any scheme must have a volumetric resolution of at least 1% to resolve "human" scale features ~1-2 metres or less. Although the spiral ramp hypothesis might be tested with poorer resolution.
